Taming Needle Eye Mountain

Sometimes leftovers can be eh…. Sometimes green and down right yucky. But sometimes, not bad at all.

Well we had some rock left over from the house and rather than send it back or store it somewhere, Scott had the great idea of lining the stairs with it. I think it turned out great. Not bad for leftovers.

Once we get the construction cleaned up and grounded graded we get to landscape!!! Y’all know I’m super excited for this!!! For my landscape savy friends, I’m open to suggestions…. Here’s what I’m thinking about for phase 1 (front and side of house). Large sidewalk stones with pea gravel, stone steps up to driveway with berms and plantings scattered. Sun all day, no irrigation so keep that in mind with suggestions 😊
