Taming Needle Eye Mountain

Remember those goat sheds we tore down? We salvaged the wood which was no easy task. Scott had to knock them down and then we pulled every nail out. Some… had as many as 10. Big old rust covered gnarly nails!

We stacked them up and waited for the shed to get finished.

Once it was done we moved all the wood up to the shed … uncovered a few critters and one very upset rat for taking his home away.. Then we wiped each one down and trimmed to fit.

Probably no surprise to y’all but Scott had the pleasure of the big ladder and the nail gun. Me.. I handed up the boards and made a few small adjustment cuts as needed.

After a week of work, 120 boards and at least a thousand trips up and down the ladder… the finished project!

Next up… Game heads to decorate.
