After a back breaking weekend of clearing out buckets and tearing down the shed we are at it again. So what do you do with all the remains from a shed? You burn it!

But first you gotta haul it .. took 4 loads to get the discarded wood moved to a burn pile.

We saved quite a bit of wood that we plan to reuse as paneling in Scotts shed.
After we finished hauling we let it sit for a few weeks until the conditions were right to burn. Say hello to our big ole bonfire!

Scott cleared this area to eventually plant with a food plot. Now saying “cleared” seems like no big deal but let me say nothing is further from the truth! Seriously the work it takes to mow down the small trees and over growth, picking up all the knocked down branches, the thorns you have to watch out for and the roots you have to cut down or chop out are not for the faint of heart!

Check out the thorns on this tree!! Wowza… I got a few cuts from those..

Took days to clean out, tear down, clear up and chop down and just about an hour to burn it all!
