Taming Needle Eye Mountain

As we get closer to moving into the shed-o-minimum, we took some time to clear up some of the brush as you drive up the property. Scott chain sawed the trees around the back of the barn and around the chicken coop. And my job was to haul the limbs and then squirt stuff on the cut. Something that prevents regrowth.

And then the fun part.. we burned it. I just love a bonfire!

It would have been even better with some s’mores!! Good thing we had a heck of a fire because it started sleeting while we were burning

With the cleared brush it’s time to finish up the chicken coop and get it ready for CHICKENS!! Woot I’m so excited. I’m hoping to find a big old round sign to hang on the side of the coop. I just love the green patina!
