Taming Needle Eye Mountain

While we are waiting for our “shed-do-minium” to be finished we are staying at a rent house in town. More to come on our rent house experience..

This cutie showed up a few weeks ago in the front yard. She roosts in the tree out front and comes to the front door for treats everyday. None of the neighbors know where she lives… and there aren’t any lost chicken signs up around town so… if I can catch her, Mable will be our first livestock of Needle Eye Mountain 😂

Can you see her in the tree? She hops up on the trunk of tree and then makes her way up there.

Lucky for her, Scott found a chicken coop on the land. He was clearing brush and low and behold he found another shack… this time for chickens we think. It needs some TLC, a patch on the roof but it could be home sweet home for Mable. The coop is built on a giant slab of rock. So cool.

Now if I could only figure out where she is laying her eggs!
