Another one bites the dust..

Scott and I tackled another project this weekend. We are taking full advantage of this snake hibernation period (hopefully they are all hibernating). This time it was a shed/goat??shed that was filled to the roof with buckets of all sizes, cages, hoses, milk crates, fishing jugs, metal shelves, tires and oh so much more..

What we started with

Thanks to the big green tractor we were able to pull all the junk out and deliver to the dumpster. It took several trips…

Trip 1

Take a guess at how many buckets we tossed..

Trip 3

Getting close to cleared
I’m thinking it rained that day….
Found some cool hinges we will reuse somewhere.
Almost cleared… just wood to go to burn pile and chicken wire for the coop. Check out the big ole trees that grew up in the shed. It must have been around awhile!

We surprised one very large and irritated rat as we pulled out his nest… I jumped but this time no scream… so …I’m getting tamed.

The rat nest

Found a few keepers, more wood to salvage for Scott’s shed and some tin to help patch up barn.

The keeper’s
Final. So satisfying to clean it up! Leaving a small part of shed for now to store the wire we will use later.

So did you guess at the number of buckets?

Answer is…

96!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
