As I reflect back on the year we have had… wow.. it’s been one.
In August, we found ourselves empty nesters.
We sold our home and stuff (still managed to pack 3 storage units…more on that later) and moved to a new state.
Bought land way out in the country
Moved into a rental.
Began taming Needle Eye and building our Shed-do-minium and forever home.
Became novice bloggers
Found a church.
Found the local dump… and donated all sorts of “treasures” to it.
Worked on making new friends in the community and the waitstaff at Top Rock Diner now know our drink order by heart 😂. We go there a lot…
And with all this newness we also had the pleasure of welcoming old friends and family to Needle Eye Mountain.
Thank you for coming to visit, for getting muddy, bumping around on the ranger, looking for wildlife, braving the root cellar and listening to all our dreams for this place!

Cheers to a joyful 2023 full of love, laughter, adventure and most of all blessings!
Don’t forget to bring boots and work gloves when you come for a visit. Lucky for you there is a two for one special this year… if you find trash treasures you get to bring them home for a souvenir.. along with a Needle Eye T-shirt!
