I’m super excited to report that the materials have arrived and they are framing the shed-do-minimum! (That’s a combo of a shed and a condominium, if you were wondering…)
Our plan ever since we bought the property was to build a big metal building that ultimately will be Scott’s dream Man Cave. All his hunting trophies and taxidermy projects will be in there. But we’re also including a small apartment for us to live in while the main house is being built.
We finally got the lumber and it is amazing how fast framing goes! A week later we were getting doors, windows, and picking out the metal color — we went with black.
Next up roof and insulation
Six weeks and counting and this will be home sweet home. Well, that’s assuming we get the water well drilled. (To be continued...)
